The Colorado Trails (COTrails) Project aims to map all recreational
trail data within Colorado and to provide an interactive mapping experience. COTrails began as a grassroots effort with a focus on Larimer County. Home to multiple public land management agencies and various recreational activities, Larimer County was the ideal candidate to initiate the project.
COTrails mission is to provide a consistent and comprehensive inventory of all motorized and non-motorized trails on public lands in Colorado. This information is to be made widely available to the public and to land managers through the design and implementation of a mapping system.
